The first six pictures were intended as an introduction, and taken two days later. The day we arrived in the village, a traditional ritual was already going on in one of the houses and I started taking photographs from that moment. It involves ritual dancing in a groups, with stylised choreography, men getting in trance and doing battle with fire, animal sacrifice and more/
For those who have trouble seeing photographs of animal sacrifice, be prepared to skip some pictures. I post them because it was an integral part o the ceremony.
