Nang Kham is the wife of the headman of Ban Sop Doud, a lantien village about 13 km downriver from Luang Namtha Town.
This picture was taken the very first time I visited her village, as part of a touriwm department boat trip. I came back to give her her photograph about three weeks later, and she invited me up into her house, where i took the picture of her cooking (22)
